We are pleased to be able to dedicate the latest issue of Common Ground to featuring stories that illustrate an exciting new phase in the Twin Cities’ movement for smarter growth and more equitable development. For the past year, the Alliance has worked to help a broad range of groups — our member organizations and other community allies — to ensure that low income communities and people of color benefit from the large-scale redevelopments in our midst. One of our central strategies has been to elevate and develop the potential of Community Benefit Agreements (CBAs), as a particular tool in a wide variety of locations and circumstances.
