Twin Cities Has Widest Jobless Gap By Race (StarTribune)

"Blacks are more than three times as likely to be unemployed as whites in the Twin Cities, giving the area the worst racial disparity in unemployment among the country's largest cities, according to a new study released this week.

Louis King, who has been fighting for equality in the workplace for years, said the study only affirmed what he has long witnessed. The founder of HIRE Minnesota, which addresses job disparity among minority groups, said the pre-recession divide was high, too."  Read more at the Star-Tribune
